It provides approximately 15 minutes of continuous oxygen flow, meeting regulatory standards for smoke clearance and evacuation support.

  • What steps are required to activate the PBE?

Tear open the vacuum‑sealed pouch, pull the activation tab to start the oxygen candle, and don the hood by sliding it over the head and tightening the straps.

  • How often must the 119003‑11 be inspected?

Perform visual checks of the pouch’s vacuum seal and expiration date during every A‑check or at least every 500 flight hours, whichever comes first.
