Cut to groove circumference, lay one to three rings in the gland, and compress evenly to the manufacturer’s torque spec.

Inspect at each major overhaul or when leakage exceeds allowable limits; typical service life is 1,000 – 2,000 operating hours.

  • How do I store unused rings or spools?

Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Shelf life exceeds five years when stored properly.
