About this product
The 76149 element is a factory-new service element designed to fit the OEM filter or assembly called out in the aircraft IPC/AMM. As a replaceable element, it’s the part that actually captures contaminants and restores the original filtration or separation performance of the host unit. Supplied with a Manufacturer’s CofC and lot traceability, the element is intended for certified maintenance use and should be installed, handled, and disposed of according to the aircraft AMM and the element manufacturer’s instructions.

76149

  • Aerospace filter media: Media selected to meet the contaminant-capture needs specified by the OEM for the intended system.

  • Pleated or multi-layer construction: Increases effective surface area for longer life and consistent performance.

  • Integrated sealing face: Built-in gasket or sealing surface to provide a reliable, leak-free fit in the filter housing.

  • Durable end caps/frame: Robust end fittings protect the media during handling and installation.


  • Restores clean airflow in environmental control units and ventilation ducts during scheduled cabin system maintenance.

  • Protects avionics cooling airstreams by removing dust and particulates before air reaches heat exchangers and electronics.

  • Filters intake air on ground-support and auxiliary air systems used during shop testing and diagnostics.

  • Removes contamination from compressor or blower intake ports on ground test benches during bench runs


  • What documentation comes with the element?

Each unit ships with a Manufacturer’s Certificate of Conformance (CofC) and batch/lot trace information for maintenance records.

  • How often should it be replaced?

Replacement interval is set by the aircraft AMM or the operator’s maintenance program. Replace earlier if inspections show contamination or excessive pressure drop.

  • What causes premature clogging or failure?

Contamination sources, incorrect installation, damaged gaskets or exposure to oils/solvents not compatible with the media can cause early failure.
