PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

7750041-113

PTFE-Impregnated Aramid Core: Provides superior strength, chemical resistance, and a self-lubricating interface that minimizes shaft wear over prolonged cycles.

Low Compression Set: Retains its original shape and sealing force after thousands of pressure and thermal cycles, reducing the need for frequent replacements.

Braided Construction: Conforms easily to gland geometries, allowing fast, tool-free installation and even compression around irregular surfaces.

Minimal Torque Requirement: The low-friction PTFE layer reduces gland torque during assembly, lowering the risk of over-tightening damage.


  • Seals control-valve shafts in primary flight-control manifolds during on-aircraft system tests.

  • Prevents leakage around rotating shafts in ground-support fuel-servicing pumps.

  • Provides dynamic sealing in high-pressure flap and slat actuator cylinders under aerodynamic loads.

  • Maintains leak-proof performance in uplock/downlock actuator glands through cycle testing.


  • How do I install this packing correctly?

Cut preformed rings to the exact gland circumference, stagger the joint, and compress to the recommended gland torque.

  • Can it seal cryogenic lines or systems?

Yes, its PTFE-aramid composition remains flexible and leak-proof down to –200 °C for cryogenic applications. 

  • How should unused packing be stored?

Keep in original packaging, stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and ozone sources. Shelf life exceeds five years.
