  • Supports back‑up sealing behind O‑rings in hydraulic pump inlet and outlet ports on maintenance benches.

  • Backs up dynamic O‑rings in servo‑valves regulating engine fuel flow in test cells.

  • How do I install the backup ring?

Slip it over the O-ring onto the gland face before assembly, ensuring it sits flat without twisting.

Re‑use is not recommended. Always install a new backup ring to guarantee extrusion protection.
