The AN960C916L is a factory-new aircraft washer made to aerospace fastener practice. A washer is a thin, flat ring placed under a nut or bolt head to spread clamp load, protect the mating surface, and help maintain correct fastener stack height. This washer restores the designed bearing area and prevents fastener heads from embedding in panels or soft parts.
