About this product
The BACR13CG2AB is a factory-new relay-based power distribution unit (PDU) supplied with a Manufacturer’s CofC. A Relay PDU combines electromechanical relays and distribution wiring/termination into a compact assembly that controls and routes electrical power to multiple aircraft subsystems like lighting, pumps, fans, indicators, etc.. It provides circuit switching, circuit segregation, and a convenient, serviceable assembly that replaces discrete relays and wiring looms.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

BACR13CG2AB

  • Factory certified supply: Supplied new with a Manufacturer’s CofC and lot/trace data for maintenance records.

  • Integrated relay switching: Houses relays in a single assembly for neat, reliable circuit switching and simplified maintenance.

  • Serviceable design: Relays and wiring are arranged for access and replacement during line or shop maintenance.

  • Plug-and-play connectors: Fitted with industry-style connector interfaces (see CofC) for direct mating to aircraft harnesses.

  • Controls and distributes electrical power to cabin lighting circuits in passenger cabin lighting panels.

  • Switches and protects galley appliance feeds during galley system installation or replacement.

  • Routes and controls pump or fan power in environmental control and lavatory ventilation systems.

  • Provides switched power feeds for avionics-adjacent non-critical loads in equipment bays.

  • How should I test the unit after installation?

Follow the AMM functional and electrical checkout procedures: verify connector pin-outs, apply power per the wiring diagram, operate control inputs, and confirm correct circuit responses and no unintended cross-feeds.

  • What inspections are required before fitment?

Check the CofC and part number, inspect connectors and harness terminations for damage, verify relay seating, and look for physical damage, corrosion, or loose hardware.

  • How should the unit be stored?

Store in original packaging in a clean, dry environment, protected from mechanical shock and contaminants; retain the CofC with the part until installation.
