The BMS9-3-TYDCL7ST120 fiberglass cloth is a high-strength, aviation-grade woven fabric engineered for composite repairs, insulation blankets, and structural layups. Woven from continuous E-glass fibers with a temperature-stable sizing, it delivers excellent tensile strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to fuels, oils, and cleaning solvents. It conforms easily to compound contours and accepts standard epoxy and phenolic resins for certified aircraft maintenance applications.

BMS9-3-TYDCL7ST120

  • Continuous E-Glass Weave: Provides uniform fiber distribution for predictable mechanical properties and no weak spots.

  • Temperature-Stable Sizing: Retains weave integrity and adhesion from –55 °C up to +200 °C under cure and service conditions.

  • Low Resin Uptake: Optimized weave pattern minimizes excess resin soak-in, reducing weight and cure time.

  • High Tear Strength: Withstands handling during lay-up and repair without fabric distortion or fraying.


  • Restores structural integrity on damaged wing skins and fairing panels using resin-impregnated lay-ups.

  • Forms the outer layer of removable insulation blankets around engine nacelles and bleed-air ducts.

  • Used in the build-up of non-load-bearing fairings, access panels, and interior trim components.

  • Acts as a reinforcement layer beneath fuel-resistant coatings in bladder-type wing tanks.


  • What resin systems are compatible with this cloth?

It works with most epoxy, phenolic, and UV-curing resin systems approved for aviation composite repairs.

  • How should I cut and handle the fabric?

Use sharp scissors or a rotary cutter. Handle gently to prevent edge fraying and maintain weave alignment.
