About this product
The NAS1726-3C is an aerospace-grade nut manufactured to NAS-series specifications and supplied new with a Manufacturer’s CofC for traceability. It is a precision fastener intended to mate with the matching bolt or stud called out in the aircraft IPC/AMM. Its role is to clamp parts together securely while resisting vibration and environmental exposure typical of aircraft service.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

NAS1726-3C

  • Factory CofC traceability: Supplied with a Manufacturer’s Certificate of Conformance and lot data for maintenance records.

  • Precision threading: Threads produced to tight tolerances to ensure correct engagement and reliable preload with the specified bolt.

  • Vibration-resistant design: Features or finish appropriate for resisting loosening under typical aircraft vibration when fitted per AMM.

  • Corrosion-resistant finish: Supplied with a protective plating or coating (see CofC) to withstand normal service environments.


  • Fastens skin panels and access covers where NAS1726-3C is specified in the IPC during repairs.

  • Holds brackets, supports, and small fittings to structure in equipment bays and service areas.

  • Clamps avionics racks and small LRUs to their mounting pads during installation or overhaul.

  • Used to secure cabin trim, panels, and non-structural fittings during refurbishment.


  • What paperwork is supplied with NAS1726-3C?

It ships with a Manufacturer’s Certificate of Conformance (CofC) and lot/trace information for inclusion in maintenance records.

  • Will this nut fit my bolt?

Use only where the IPC/AMM lists NAS1726-3C for the mating bolt/stud.
