About this product
The NSA8420-2-MT is an aircraft lacing tape / lacing cord used to secure and route wiring harnesses and small-diameter tubing in aircraft. It is supplied as a braided, flexible tape on a reel and is the standard style used for cable-lacing and harness bundling in maintenance and production. The construction and finish are chosen to resist abrasion, remain knot-stable, and tolerate the normal fluids and temperatures encountered in aircraft equipment bays and service environments. Units are supplied with TRI-Release trace paperwork for maintenance records.

  • Bundling signal and power cables inside avionics bays to prevent chafe and improve serviceability.

  • Lacing harnesses through engine-access compartments and nacelle doors where space is limited.

  • Organizing wiring runs within landing-gear wells to prevent abrasion during retraction/extension.
