PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

S9026T230

  • PTFE‑Impregnated Carbon‑Graphite Fiber: Combines low friction with excellent chemical resistance to fuels, oils, and solvents.

  • Low Compression Set: Maintains sealing force after repeated thermal and pressure cycles.

  • Braided Construction: Conforms to gland geometries for easy installation without special tooling.

  • Self‑Lubricating: Graphite matrix provides inherent lubrication, reducing shaft scoring and torque.


  • Prevents fluid leaks around rotating pump shafts in maintenance stands.

  • Seals valve stems in flight‑deck hydraulic control units during operational tests.

  • Provides dynamic sealing in flap and slat actuator rods under aerodynamic loads.

  • Maintains leak‑proof performance in uplock/downlock actuator glands.


  • How is the packing installed?

Cut rings to match the groove circumference, install one to three rings evenly, and compress to the OEM gland torque.

  • Can it handle cryogenic service?

Yes, it remains flexible and sealing down to –200 °C for liquid‑oxygen and nitrogen systems.

  • How should unused packing be stored?

Store in a cool, dry place away from UV and ozone sources. Shelf life exceeds five years.
