PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

TAAI2-998411-01

  • Slip-On Installation: The elasticized hem stretches over the headrest cushion, fitting snugly without the need for tools or fasteners.

  • Fire-Resistant Fabric: Made from aviation-grade, flame-retardant upholstery material that meets FAR 25.853 standards for cabin safety.

  • Abrasion-Resistant Surface: The tightly woven textile resists daily wear and tear, protecting the foam cushion underneath.

  • Easy to Clean: Wipe-clean capable with standard cabin cleaners and machine-washable on a gentle cycle when heavily soiled.


  • Installed during cabin refurbishment to replace worn or stained headrest covers and refresh the seat appearance.

  • Used as a routine maintenance replacement whenever headrest covers show signs of fading, tearing, or staining.

  • How do I install it?

Simply stretch the elasticized bottom edge over the top of the headrest and pull downward until the cover locks into place. No tools are needed.

  • Can I clean it in an industrial washer?

Yes. It can be machine-washed on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. For routine spills, a soft cloth with approved cabin cleaner is sufficient. 

  • Does it require FAA or EASA certification?

It carries FAA-PMA approval and is eligible for EASA Form 1 release, so you can obtain proper airworthiness documentation for both U.S. and European operators.
