About this product
The 233A3201-305 module assembles the electrical heating elements for both cockpit windows and pitot/static probes on an aircraft. Installed on the P5-9 overhead panel, it delivers regulated power to prevent ice buildup and fogging, ensuring critical airspeed and attitude sensors remain operational in icing conditions.233A3201-305 Datasheet

Precision Temperature Regulation: Continuously monitors built-in thermistors to modulate heat output, preventing both under- and over-heating of windows and probes.
Dual-Zone Output Control: Independently powers windshield and pitot elements, allowing targeted anti-ice protection and optimized electrical load balance.
High-Voltage Corona Suppression: Includes filtered power conditioning to eliminate corona discharge at altitude, preserving signal integrity and reducing RF noise.
Rugged Vibration-Tolerant Construction: Mounted on the overhead panel with shock-isolating brackets and reinforced housings to withstand continuous cockpit vibrations.
Preventing ice formation on pitot probes to maintain accurate airspeed and altitude readings
Defogging cockpit windows for clear pilot visibility during takeoff, climb, and descent in freezing conditions
Integrated into the overhead P5-9 anti-ice circuit on Boeing 737NG series vessels
Employed in compliance with Boeing service bulletins mandating periodic module replacement and testing.
What does the “RP” condition mean?
“Repairable” indicates the unit has been overhauled, tested, and verified to meet or exceed original equipment manufacturer specifications.
How is the module powered?
It draws from the aircraft’s 115 VAC, 400 Hz electrical bus via the P5 overhead circuit, with internal transformers conditioning the voltage for window and pitot heaters.
How often should the module be tested or replaced?
Boeing Service Bulletin 737-30A1064 recommends module replacement or operational testing every 36 months or per C-check intervals.
